Why choose us?

Our Aim is to build a better relationship with you our clients and suppliers in the effort to produce the best travel experience for you.

1. Bigger is a not necessarily better.

Bigger companies have more fees, charges and costs to cover. These companies have to cover these costs by passing them onto you. Increasing the cost you pay for your holiday.
We at Travel Trenz are small and independent so we do not pay franchise fees or have to play by the same rules as the bigger companies.
Therefore we can do what you want to do – Giving you a better product, better price, better service and meeting your needs.

2. Does Size Matter?

Because of our size we do not have the high overheads or costs the larger companies have.
Yet because we are a chain of independent agencies all working together we have the same buying power as the bigger companies and can get the same deals as the bigger companies from the same suppliers they use.
As we are independent we do not have to use preferred suppliers products all the time. We can go to other suppliers and obtain the best product and use that allowing a better price for you and a better total product for your needs.

OUR STAFF

Melda Eddy
Melda has over 30 years in retail travel experience originally starting in Napier as a travel consultant. Melda studied and became a fully qualified travel agent in the 1980’s. She moved up to Rotorua and worked in various agencies over the years. Melda opened Travel Trenz in 1997 and has been business since then. In 2007 Melda sold Travel Trenz to Megan & Ashley Brunel to enable Melda to do more with her clients and do her first passion - sell travel.
Megan Brunel
Megan has worked dealing in sales for 4 years. In 2004 graduated from Sir George Seymour College in Hamilton with a Diploma in Travel & Tourism (level 4) achieved with distinction. Megan has been involved in Travel Trenz since February 2006.
Ashley Brunel
Ashley obtained a Certificate in Business from Waiariki Institute of Technology in 1999 and graduated with a Bachelor in Tourism Management (BTM) in March of 2003. Ashley also has 10 Years in Hospitality industry of which 6 years have been in hotel management experience.
